Vehicle Description
1969 Dodge Charger R/T
If you grew up in the 70's and 80's you will no doubt recognize
this classic. If you are having trouble just imagine Orange with a
big "01" on the side. While the General Lee may have made the 69
Charger famous we would take this classic R/T over Bo and Lukes car
any day. This is another classic brought to you by the Sons of
Thunder crew and man do they do some great work. This 69 Charger
R/T is one awesome Mopar that has been fully restored. The car was
completed recently and has only racked up 2,447 miles since
finished so it is still fresh. The car comes with all of the
original factory build sheets. The body is very straight and has no
issues. It is coated in a nice Bronze metallic paint that has a
great finish. A Black R/T stripe is in place around the rear and
the taillight panel was also painted Black to match. The Black
vinyl top was replaced and looks perfect on a muscle car of this
vintage. This year is known for its hideaway headlights which are
in place and working properly. That iconic split front grill gives
the car a great look and all of the chrome is in excellent
condition. The car has a great stance and rolls around on Magnum
wheels with fresh BF Goodrich radial T/A tires.
Under the hood and you will find the rebuilt numbers matching 440
Magnum V8 motor that is done to factory specs. The level of detail
is top notch even down to the foil backed factory insulation piece
under the air gap intake. Every wire, hose, paint is as it was from
the factory. Paired with the engine is a 4 speed manual
transmission.
The interior of the car is done in a matching Bronze with light
colored seat upholstery and a darker Bronze on the dash. It was all
redone to factory specs as well and is in great condition. All of
the gauges, knobs, switches, etc work properly with zero issues.
The factory center console is in place and even wears its original
Wood trim pieces. The trunk of the car has also been nicely
detailed out.
If your looking for something to add to your collection this
classic Mopar is sure to fit the bill. These cars are a part of
automotive history and if you have spent any time watching car
auctions you know Mopars like this are a hot item.
