1956 Desoto Fireflite Sportsman 2 door hard top. Desert rose and grey exterior, mauve and white interior. 330 ci. Hemi V8, push button powerflite transmission. Power steering, power brakes. Kelsey Hayes style wire wheels and radial tires. Custom made fender skirts.
Frame off restoration many years ago but re-freshed in 2015-2016 including: Disassemble, paint and bodywork. Engine and frame refinished, electronic ignition installed, brake system redone including brake shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, and brake lines. Carburetor rebuilt, new fuel pump and fuel lines, fuel tank repaired and refinished and inside of tank recoated. Body lifted and new body mounts installed. New water pump and hoses, radiator and heater core cleaned and repaired, new heater control valve.
