Chevrolet Master Deluxe. A few years before World War 2 started
Chevrolet built this fantastic piece of automotive history. The
1937 Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe was touted as "The complete
car, completely new" in ads. Retooling had cost $26 million, an
astronomical figure by the standards of the time. Not since 1929
had Chevrolets been altered so completely. This is the same year
that Bing Crosby released songs like Sweet Leilani and Snow White
was in theaters for the first time! Impressive new styling of the
1937 Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe was the work of Jules
Agramonte, who had designed the stunning 1934 LaSalle. This car
received a frame off restoration in 2003 and has only logged 4639
miles on it since the build was completed & no expense was spared.
The car is finished in 3 beautiful coats of Viper Red and topped
off with 5 clear coats. The roof has been chopped & lowered by
about 4-inches to give it that custom & classic yet menacing look.
The exterior trim, bumpers, & glass are in great condition. The
hood opens & closes easily with no issues. The interior is color
matched to the outside with some new classic gauges in the dash,
custom Chevy steering wheel, Bluetooth CD player with speakers
throughout the cab, nice cloth bench seats, good condition door
panels, carpet, & headliner, & each seat has 5-point seat belt
harnesses. It is powered by a brand new 350 CID V8 crate engine
from Goodwrench. The engine was installed at 4361 miles and has
less than 300 miles on it since then. It is also covered by a 3
year/100,000 mile warranty that is transferrable to the new owner.
The transmission has about 1000 miles on it since it was rebuilt
and installed into the car. It is equipped with some nice features
including; power assisted drum brakes, a vega steering box,
electronic cooling fans on the new aluminum radiator, 3-inch SS
exhaust and a stainless steel firewall. You will also find a new
gas tank, B&M shifter, 3.55 gears in the Chevy rear end, clean
