Vehicle Description
One of only 3,467 built, this very special Corvette has been
restored and presented in a museum-like state. It has been stored
in a climate-controlled private collection since completion. Over
the years, it has been a perpetual show-winner, including the
Willistead Classic of Canada. It was judged personally by the
Father of the Corvette, Zora Arkus-Duntov at the Meadow Brook Hall
Concours d'Elegance, where he hand-selected it for the blue ribbon
and prestigious Lion Award. Thereafter, it was invited to exhibit
at SAE Expo to honor Arkus-Duntov and three other notable
engineers. It was there that Arkus-Duntov signed the dashboard,
which is fully documented by the press, letters and photos that
accompany the car. The beautiful red paint, white soft-top and
correct whitewall tires are simply stunning. The rich red interior
complements the exterior perfectly. The nicely detailed engine
compartment is home to its 265/255hp V8 engine with two 4-barrel
carburetors. The engine is coupled with 3-speed manual
transmission. The car has been recently serviced, detailed and a
received a complete new exhaust system.
