Vehicle Description
The Chevrolet "Coolside II" was created to explore the performance
potential of the Silverado pickup when equipped with all-wheel
drive combined with a potent 8.1-liter 496ci V8. The Coolside II's
big block V8 produces 605 ft/lbs of torque and 575hp. It's mated to
a heavy-duty 4-speed automatic transmission, with power distributed
through a New Venture prototype viscous coupling all-wheel drive
system. The radiator, transmission and brake cooling have been
upgraded to enable the vehicle's considerable performance
standards. The interior and exterior trim and graphics are unique
to this vehicle, including the custom paint and flames. Previously
part of the GM Heritage Collection. THIS IS A MODIFIED VEHICLE.
