Vehicle Description
This custom Nomad is simply over-the-top. It's finished in
spectacular mile-deep Orange Pearl paint. The full-leather interior
features European tweed carpeting. It's powered by a completely
polished fuel-injected LS1 power plant with a polished 6-speed
manual transmission with Centerforce clutch and B&M shifter.
The frame is boxed with no holes left. It received new floor pans
and new custom wheel wells during the restoration. The custom
bumpers were down-sized and frenched into the body. Other
modifications included enclosing the cowl grille, removing the drip
rails, deleting the glass vents and adding one-piece door glass.
The gas door was removed from the quarter-panel and reinstalled
under the taillight with power remote opener. It also has ustom
exterior door handles and grille. It's equipped with air suspension
by Air Ride Technologies, front upper and lower control arms
polished with 3" spindles, polished 4-link rear suspension and 9"
Ford-Currie rear with polished housing and 4.10 gears. It has Baer
4-wheel polished disc brakes, an aluminum radiator and condenser by
Griffin, chrome Vintage Air and custom stainless exhaust. It rides
on custom 18" front and 20" rear billet aluminum wheels. Interior
features include a Flaming River steering column with Billet
Specialties steering wheel, in-dash Pioneer DVD player, XM radio
system and top-of-line speakers.
