Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this beautiful original body panel 1967 Pontiac GTO! The GTO was produced by Pontiac Motor Corporation for model years 1964 through 1974 and in the decade long stretch became one of the most iconic muscle cars of all time. The 1967 models of Pontiac Motor Division represented a bold new approach in automotive styling combined with many new engineering features designed to increase the safety, comfort and convenience of driving This true 242 VIN GOAT has never been repainted and still rocks its factory "straight black" paint job! The paint is in excellent condition and shows very well for its age. The exterior trim, bumpers, grill, headlights, taillights, window trim, & glass all follow the same condition and quality. The body line gaps between each panel are even and the doors open & close with ease. The car is equipped with the iconic 400 CID V8 engine that delivers the best of both worlds with big block power and small block liveliness. Back then it was rated at 335hp but people guess it was much more. It is all transferred to the ground via a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt by Classic Cars of Houston and the car has only travelled 1000 miles since it was done. The interior is beautiful & looks like it has never been sat in. The black on black combo works great on a GTO and this is no exception. You can see the seats, carpet, door panels, headliner, & the dash are in like new condition. NO cracks in the dash, hardly any wear on the pedals, this car is MINT. The car features a Focal sound system throughout the car with Bluetooth stereo controls. All options on this car work as they should, you must see this car in person to appreciate the beauty. ***We have extensive receipts equaling close to $30,000, also the PHS and other documentation*** This car is optioned with AC (Vintage air - R134a blows cold!), power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior and rally wheels. We can provide you with the PHS and any receipts that we have for the car. It truly is a very special GTO and if you are looking for one that stands out among the crowd this is the one for you.
