Land Rover Series III. When we think about Land Rovers we don't
think about the new blinged out ones that never see dirt. We think
of these right here. The ones that look like they just came off of
the Safari and this is a great example of one. The fit and finish
are in really great shape for the age of the vehicle. Remember that
these were built to run in places where most people wouldn't even
think about driving. So don't look for some $30k paint job here,
but this is very clean.
As you will see in the pics, the interior of these trucks were very
simple and to the point. They showed you what you needed to know
about what was going on with the vehicle and that was about it. Not
a lot of frills and fluff here. That being said, everything that
you do see is clean and ready to go, not all beat up and wore
out.
Under the hood sits the original inline 4 cylinder that it was born
with. Again, these are not build for break neck horsepower. They
were built to haul things around and be work trucks more than
anything else. This motor is mated to its 4 speed transmission, and
yes this is a 4x4 so you can lock it down and take it in to the
thick stuff with confidence.
This is a really cool truck that you just have to own. They are fun
to drive and get a ton of looks because you don't see these every
