Often the word luxury, is used to describe a Grand Wagoneer but there is no better word to describe the feeling and image this vehicle exudes than regal. Since day one this Grand Wagoneer has been well cared for. The history report states that this vehicle has lived in the Portland Oregon area since 1995 and then came to Idaho in 2005 where it has since resided. It has since been restored as needed and is in over all good condition for being almost 30 years old. The white paint shines nicely are there are no signs of rust. These trucks were prone to rust around the wheel arches and rocker panels. This Wagoneer does not appear to have any rust. A clean autocheck shows that this Wagoneer has never seen an accident. That being said there are a few bumps and bruises around the body. Some of the original vinyl wood paneling has some chips and there are a few minor dents on the body. The grill has some minor scrapes and dings but it shows well for its age. This is a Wago one can use for daily tasks and you will feel very regal behind the steering wheel. Years 1987-1991 were considered the “best of the breed” for this long lasting platform. These are most desirable among collectors and long time owners. This example has benefited from a recent, $3,000 mechanical refresh; Transmission pan reseal, tune up, fuel pump and filter, oil change, grease driveline, replaced the accessory belts and water pump and coolant, new power steering pump, new K&N air filter, wiper blades, all four shocks, mount and balance on new tires, and a full detail. That being said the engine has a small leak from the rear main seal. The stereo receiver has also been upgraded to a hands free bluetooth unit. New custom floor mats were also added to polish off the look. The interior is extremely clean and is a great place to spend some time. The doors have also seen new rubber window wipes. Being brand new sometimes the windows can slow down and need help. The rear tailgate window which can prove problematic works very well. The drivers door has seen a new rubber weather strip gasket so a firm shut is required while being broken in. The power door locks work as do all of the gauges and their nigh time running lights. The power seats also function as they should. We encountered many thumbs up, and endless compliments in parking lots on this now iconic classic. This Wagoneer is ready for a new caring owner.
