This good looking 1972 Chevrolet El Camino SS Tribute is for sale
in our Louisville Showroom. While the Ford Ranchero can lay claim
to beating Chevy to the punch, the El Camino surpassed the Ranchero
in longevity as far as length of model run. Personally, it was a
better looking car, and this is coming from a Ford guy. While the
owner cannot positively confirm, it believed to be a true SS El
Camino, but without the build sheet, he cannot be 100% positive.
This particular El Camino has a 350 V8 with a Turbo 350 three speed
automatic transmission. A new carburetor has been installed to feed
the 350 SBC the fuel it needs. A new 3 inch exhaust with Flowmaster
mufflers has been added to insure the 350 SBC can flow all the
spent gases and sound good doing it. The rear end gear ratio is a
2.73, so this is a nice highway cruising. The rear end has also
been recently rebuilt, so there will be no issues in the near
future. The front suspension has also been rebuilt the ball joints
along with new shocks, front and rear. Not only will the ride on
this El Camino be smooth, but you will stay comfortable as the AC
has been rebuilt. The exterior paint in good shape, and would
really shine with a good buffing. Options for this 1972 Chevrolet
El Camino include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio with Cassette,
Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth
Interior, and Rally Wheels with Raised White Letter Radial Tires.
