Vehicle Description
In the vintage truck world, there's often the choice of form OR
function, but this 1973 Ford F-100 Ranger offers both. You get
modern shiny paint and plenty of other new upgrades that combines
with a rebuilt 390 V8 and spray-in bedliner to give you an
affordable classic that has style and substance.
This truck is a well assembled package. It starts with a nice
application of aqua blue that shows what happens when you invest in
a modern clearcoat paint. When sunshine hits this pickup, it has a
radiant effect off the deep luster that makes you proud to own this
classic. You can also tell there has been investments in the
bumpers to keep the chrome just as shiny. And those large 22-inch
Boss Motorsports wheels are another great touch that brings modern
attraction. And as you look at the grille, and realize the satin
finish matches that on the alloys, you start to realize this pickup
is the product of a very thoughtful planning. Even the matte black
stripe on the hood nicely coordinates with the F-O-R-D lettering in
the rear. It also matches the spray-in bedliner, so that this very
functional piece can still be a part of the overall thoughtful
design.
Inside is a handsome and correct black interior. The bench combines
durable vinyl with comfortable cloth for where you sit, so it
couldn't be a nicer combo. The exterior blue returns on the door
panels and dash, so this whole pickup was painted properly during
the respray. But more than just look great, you're going to enjoy
upgrades like the AM/FM/CD stereo w/USB input, upgraded speaker
system, and sporty Grant GT steering wheel. And you can also feel
the extra quality in this truck simply by the way the doors close
with authority and the newer weather-stripping really seals this
classic.
But the best work in this pickup was reserved for under the hood.
You'll love showing off the 390 cubic-inch V8 with its big blue
block, bright air topper, and Cobra fined valve covers. But this
one also has some nice substance. It was rebuilt a few years ago,
and now includes upgrades such as an Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and Dougs long tube headers - all of
which gives this a throaty rumble out of the dual exhaust. The full
package truly makes this a muscle machine, but there is more here
than just pure power. It feels nice on the road thanks to the
three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and Ford's twin
I-beam front suspension. Plus, you have the added roadholding of
front disc brakes and grippy low profile tires at all four
corners.
Complete with build receipts, so you can go over all the expensive
and extensive work, this is a unique F-100 with plenty of power and
usability. A great vintage package like this won't stay with us
long at this affordable price. Call today!!!
