This V8 Vantage has been well known to Autosport Designs, Inc. having been sold and serviced by us for many years. In April 2005 and during one of its yearly service appointments with Autosport Designs, it received an engine rebuilt-conversion to big bore 6.1 liter specifications with parts supplied by well-known UK Aston specialists Aston Engineering. It is quite potent with approximately 500 HP and just as much torque! This V8 Vantage has always been maintained, service, restored when and where needed with the best intentions to keep it in excellent condition throughout. It been in a exceptional private collection for many years and superb in every way.
The V8 Vantage Flip Tail started the new era of the Aston supercar and for a period of time was acclaimed the world’s fastest motorcar. Extremely rare, it represents not only a wonderful piece of Aston Martins hand manufactured history-production from Newport Pagnell, but also an excellent investment potential.
