One of 15 Roadsters built in 1977. This Excalibur is in top level condition and certainly is the nicest one I have ever seen. Long time ownership, last changed hands in 1988. The previous owner is a classic car enthusiast who spends his money on getting his cars in tip top form. The next owner will certainly appreciate the previous owners efforts. Gone is the trouble some 454 V8 and a 396 was built and installed. The 396 has a extra main bearing that the 454 truck engine doesn't have, so that was major consideration with the change. The 396 was rebuilt, balanced and blueprinted along with the cylinder heads were polished and flowed to match the cam shaft. A indexed quadra jet Rochester 800 is mated to the Edelbrock manifold. All that power, 440hp is transferred through the Turbo 400 transmission. Another special feature is the side pipes are solid with the flex pipe installed over to preserve the look. No need to worry about the side pipes leaking. The engine rebuild and side exhaust work was done at the same time as the this Excalibur was painted. Top level paint job, the only way to get a correct paint job is to take everything off the car prior to painted. That's exactly what happened to this one, no tape lines, no signs of bad prep or execution, no fish eyes or other imperfections on this amazing car. The interior was also redone with new upholstery on the factory seats. This is one amazing car that ready to go and impress on your first day of new ownership. The previous owner also contacted the Excalibur factory and had they engineered the bows so you can convert the hard top to a soft top. That could be one of a kind as it was a custom build. This Excalibur is so nice all the way around and at every level. Sure to be welcome at any car show or any time it's out of the garage. Contact Shep at 208.721.1973
