Here we have a nice 1976 Corvette L48 painted in bright blue
metallic with black leather interior. The body of the car is very
nice and straight with an excellent fit and finish. The paint looks
great but has a couple of blemishes here and there, not show
quality but very nice driver quality. It is a two stage base coat
clear coat and painted the original blue color (paint code 22L).
The interior is the original black leather (code 192) and is
showing it's age a little bit. The dash looks really good along
with all the gauges and instruments but the seats and carpets could
use replacing and there are a few cracks in the door panels. All
gauges and lights seems to work and a new retro sound radio as been
added. The corvette is also equipped with power windows, tilt and
telescopic steering and air conditioning. The A/C compressor does
not have a belt on it so I'm assuming it doesn't work properly but
all the components seems to be there and the passenger side window
does not work but you can hear the motor running fine, may have
just come off track. The headlights work but are slow to come up
and the passenger side usually needs help going down. The engine is
supposed to be the factory original but when they rebuilt the motor
the block was decked and the numbers were removed. However the
casting number and date codes are correct along with the heads,
intake and carb. The 350 automatic transmission is the original to
the car and still retains the cars VIN suffix stamped on it. The
car runs out very strong and drives really good. Motor starts right
up every time with no smoke or hesitation and really sounds awesome
with the side pipes. This corvette is a lot of fun to drive and
really feels good on the road. We have watched these cars creep up
in value over the last couple of years and they are not going to
get any cheaper. Here is a beautiful corvette that can be bought
right and enjoyed for years to come without investing a fortune and
will only go up in value. It will never be this cheap again........
