Lot #767 - This one-of-a-kind, Pro-Touring Camaro, known as
"Project Silverback," was custom built. It underwent a
no-expense-spared, rotisserie, nut-and-bolt restoration. Many
upgrades were added, including Metallic Silver paint with
continuous black stripes, Mattson aluminum radiator with electronic
fans, custom gas filler, Chris Alston chassis, rack & pinion
steering, coilover suspension and Boze forged wheels. The custom
black interior features ProCar seats, Hurst reverse lock-out
ratchet shifter, Auto Meter gauges and billet hardware. In 2012 and
2013, the car was taken to even a higher level. A GM LSX454R engine
was installed. At 776hp, this is the most powerful create motor GM
makes. It's also equipped with custom headers, exhaust, Hi-Po
automatic transmission, Zex nitrous-oxide system, aluminum fuel
cell, custom driveshaft and 3.73 Ford 9" rear end with
center-section brace. It also has a high-capacity fuel pump,
improved multi-link coilover suspension, rear tubs, larger Wilwood
brakes and smoothed firewall. Many other extras were added.
