This is a great original car. The engine is a 302 and runs well. It always starts up fine.
The bad right up front is as follows. The transmission as of just recently started slipping out of gear into neutral. Something in the tranny needs attention but I have no Transmission experience to say whats up with it. Also, the car only has 85k miles. But when I bought the car I checked the box that said the odometer rolled over. The registry told me it was easy to change and its not... I have a signed affidavit from the previous owner stating the correct millage that has been notarized.
This car was garaged for most of its life.
Brakes work great and the tires have plenty of meat on them still.
Since I bought this car from the original family of owners i have done the following:
I have added all new duel exhaust system. Sounds much better now!!
Replaced the master cylinder.
Replaced the high pressure hose for the power steering.
Changed the oil and all fluids.
Replaced the points and ignition
Replaced the battery
The car is very Clean inside and out. And very comfortable as the driver or passangers.
We have immensely enjoyed this classic car.
This car gets compliments and thumbs up every time she is out.
She is a rare and beautiful car.
