For sale in our Atlanta showroom is a 1937 Austin Boattail
Speedster Prototype. Founded by Herbert Austin in 1905, the Austin
Motor Company would create models that would influence large
automotive manufacturers for years to come. During the great
depression, many auto makers restructured, including Austin Motor
Company. A year before reorganizing and becoming American Bantam,
Austin would produce one it's most rare and highly desirable
prototypes ever, the Austin Boat Tail Speedster. With only six ever
produced, this 1937 Austin Boat Tail Prototype for sale doesn't get
much rarer. With over 2,000 man hours put into the restoration of
this particular Austin, this Boat Tail for sale is simply one of a
kind. The exterior is a real looker, in a gorgeous coat of Green
paint. Complimented by Yellow painted steel wheels adorned with
polished hubcaps and wrapped in wide whitewall tires, this 1937
Austin for sale will catch eyes and turn heads. Add in the gorgeous
polished and chrome accents and you'll find yourself with a high
appreciation for the painstaking time spent in researching and
restoring this ultra rare piece of history. The interior is just as
sharp, with a Black vinyl bench seat. Throw in a simplistic dash
and a manual shifter and you have an easygoing and functional
interior. The Boat Tail Austin for sale comes to life thanks to a
tiny inline 4-cylinder engine. Backed by a manual transmission,
this Boattail Speedster is the true definition of an oversized
go-kart. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD
