This Fiat is a bit out of the ordinary for us here at Evolve Motors. We typically deal with classic cars in various states of repair, so a mint, modern car like this one is a nice change. We got this car from California as a trade-in for an old Porsche we just sold; the owner was looking to get something a bit more stylish to enjoy the California sunshine in. While maybe not quite as enticing as an old Porsche, this Fiat is a lovely little car. It's spec'd out exactly how we'd have done it ourselves, with the Sport-spec naturally aspirated motor, 5-speed manual transmission, and black over black colorway with red calipers. As far as an affordable, practical everyday commuter, we really can't think of many other cars that would fit the bill quite as well. Exterior: The photos speak for themselves, really. Black paint is excellent. There are absolutely no scratches; the only cosmetic flaws are a tiny nick just behind the driver door, where it looks like another car's door may have tapped it while parked, in addition to a small rock chip just above the passenger front wheel and a bit of curb rash on the passenger rear wheel. The front end is in impressive shape; there are no rock chips on the lower front bumper and all chrome, glass, and lights are in as-new condition. Interior: Again, no surprises. The interior presents just as well as the exterior. Condition is consistent with the car's 39,000 miles. There is no fading, tearing, cracking, etc. Seats are comfortable, headliner is tight, and the car is actually fairly roomy. An average sized adult would have no problem sitting in the backseat, which came as a surprise to us. The only spot to be aware of is a small stain on the passenger seat bottom, which looks like a couple drops of coffee left their mark. Under the Hood / Underbody: As you'd expect with a well-cared-for four year old car, there is no rust or concerning noises or tendencies. Car drives like new. Nice and quiet, with no rattles or anything of the sort. The 500 Sport is pretty peppy, the short wheelbase and manual transmission make it a blast to drive. Brakes are excellent, and stop on a dime. Tires have plenty of life remaining; tread depth measures 8/32" at all four corners (new tires are typically 11/32"). With just 39,000 miles on the clock, this Fiat 500 Sport is ready for many more years of enjoyment.
