Vehicle Description
This exceptional survivor Mach I has always lived in dry, rust free
Arizona. It is nicely optioned with a Ram Air 351 C. I. engine, FMX
automatic transmission, power steering, power front disc brakes,
console, AM/FM radio, correct Magnum 500 wheels, and factory AC
(inoperative). The correct white paint with black accent stripes,
and "Mach I" lettering are in very good condition. The black
interior is in good condition, shows well, and makes this a
striking classic Mustang.
Odometer shows less than 22,000 miles. Keep in mind that classic
Mustangs only had a 5 digit odometer, so we do not know for certain
if those miles are original. However, the overall condition of the
car tells us it could be.
This '72 Mach I runs and drives well. The original factory AC
system is in place, but the belt has been removed from the original
compressor. If you decide to purchase it, we recommend a Vintage
Auto Air upgrade using a Sanden compressor. This will allow use of
R134a coolant instead of the original, and extremely expensive, R12
Freon. You can also use all of the original controls, vents,
plenum, and ductwork already in place, making installation easier,
and retaining the look and feel of a factory system.
This beautiful '72 Mach I is located in the Phoenix area.
In short, this is a very nice, 1972 survivor Mach 1, ready to enjoy
as a weekend toy.
