Offered here is a cool and unique 1968 Austin-Morris Mini Cooper
for consideration. The car is finished in British Racing Green with
the appropriate white racing stripes on the bonnet over an upgraded
black and red interior. It has been converted to a left-hand drive
to make in more user friendly on American roads. Overall, the car
remains in great condition and it is a blast to drive. This Mark II
Mini is powered by the 1.3L (1275cc) EFI Inline 4-Cylinder engine
mated to a 4-speed gearbox. It starts on command, shifts smoothly,
and corners like it’s on rails. If you’ve never driven one of these
cars, you’re missing out. People will love seeing you in it and in
turn, you’ll love being in it. Not the ideal vehicle for a grand
tour, but the perfect urban commuter.
This car was delivered to the U.S. from Southampton, England in
2004. From 2005 to 2008, the car was mechanically overhauled with
new brakes, ball joints, plugs, wires, new tires, etc. Most
recently, a new clutch installation offers a wonderful driving
experience. The car also comes with a stack of service records and
MiniMania receipts, four original wheels and tires, and an Mini
shop manual. All of the interior buttons work as they should,
including the sporty Hella high beams.
We love driving this car and we know the next owner will enjoy it
as well. Call or e-mail if interested, or to make a reasonable
offer. Thank you for looking.
