Colony Park Station Wagon remained among the premium American
brands including its direct competitors: Chrysler Towne and

these luxury brands offered more than just utility to the American
family. They were the first to offer options such as: Leather
seating, power windows, cruise control, climate control, smoother
suspension, hi-fi stereo etc. The Mercury Colony Park introduced 6
different generations of its Station Wagons, all of which featured
its signature Simulated Wood Grain side paneling option.
