For sale in our Chicago showroom is a very original 1981 Pontiac
Bonneville Brougham. This Old 'Gal was with the same ownership up
until recently and was meticulously maintained and pampered
throughout it's 39,593 miles. Based on the General Motors
B-Platform, the Pontiac Bonneville offered a luxurious and modern
design of the time and the sixth generation offered increased
legroom, headroom and large trunk that made this a comfortable
family sedan and gave buyers comfortable seating and plenty of
style. On the inside you are greeted with a very soft green velour
interior that is in remarkable condition. The woodgrain dash is
complimented by easy to read gauges, the original AM/FM stereo and
adjustable steering column. Power features include windows, locks
and driver's seat that make driving this as comfortable as a more
modern car. The exterior styling is adorned with stainless steel
side trim, spoke wheel covers, fender skirts and whitewall tires.
After the gas shortage of the early 1970's and with new CAFE
regulations a 231 Cubic Inch Buick V6 was introduced and is seen is
this beauty. The 3.8 Liter offered smooth and quiet acceleration
while delivering good fuel economy in a full size vehicle. This car
starts up very easily and is a pleasure to drive on the open road
and is ready for that next loving owner who will appreciate how
well this car has been kept over the years. Located in our Chicago
showroom, this vintage 1981 Pontiac Bonneville can be seen
including an HD video and pictures at www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
