Lancer Evolution X Special Edition. Only having 340 total Special
Editions produced, this clean exampled numbered 81/340 is in very
good condition. Powered by a 2.0L turbocharged inline 4-cylinder
engine with a factory rating of 291 horsepower put to the pavement
through all 4 wheels, most people would be more than satisfied. The
owner of this vehicle wanted to bump up the performance while still
maintaining the ability to go completely back to stock. A K&N
Typhoon intake feeds all the K&N intercooler piping through the
factory turbo, making its way through the potent power plant, and
finally out the Borla exhaust creating a sporty burble. A custom
tune has been programmed into the vehicles computer system to make
these new additions work in sync perfectly, and a Cobb V3
Accessport lets you monitor systems while driving. The custom
touches don't stop in the engine bay, as there have been several
tasteful modifications done to the outside. Many of them are subtle
enough to be mistakenly thought to be factory options. The
intercooler has had "Evo X" painted on its face, slightly hidden
behind the factory grille. The horns have been coated in a bright
red to match the red calipers on the brakes. The hood has had some
custom pin-striping done that should have been there from the
factory as it looks just so right on the car. The windows have been
tinted to really complete the black and white theme on the vehicle.
With such a clean, rare, and tastefully modified vehicle, there is
plenty of fun and functionality to be had in this Evo with some
investment potential, as well. The Evo is no longer being offered
