For sale in our Chicago showroom is a very clean 1987 Cadillac
Brougham. By the mid to late 1980's Cadillac was producing very
large comfortable vehicles and this style was relatively unchanged
since 1980. Even some full size Cadillac's of the early '80's
featured the HT4100 motor that was notoriously underpowered but
this beauty has the famously-reliable and smooth 307 Cubic Inch LV2
V8 manufactured by Oldsmobile, which was quite an improvement.
Acceleration on this beauty is whisper quiet and this beauty just
floats down the road while having excellent road manners. The first
thing you will notice about this meticulously kept survivor is the
impeccable paint job in the original shade that shines beautifully
and is a nice contract to the Butterscotch interior that looks as
nice as the day it left the showroom. One turn of the key and that
strong V8 comes purring to life and you can tell this car is ready
for the open road. All electronics work as they should save for the
power antenna and you will be impressed with how nice this car
handles even at highway speeds. Recent front suspension work was
completed, as was servicing the air conditioning and converting to
R134A refrigerant. Inside you are greeted with glove-soft leather
and a nice array of options including a Symphony Sound AM/FM Stereo
with Cassette, Twilight Sentinel headlights, tilt/telescoping
wheel, digital climate control, cruise control, power heated
outside mirror, auto-dimming rear view mirror, power driver and
passenger seat and of course power steering and brakes. This is
what you would expect from "The Standard of the World" in 1987.
