Originally purchased on June 27, 1949, this 1949 Ford Sedan is
nonetheless a piece of history. It was originally bought by a woman
named Marjorie Tilley, and the only purposes for this car were to
get to the grocery store and church. We possess the bill of
purchase for proof! Whenever she passed away, she left the car in
her will to the people who cared for her when she was ill. Miss
Tilley only put 13,610 miles on it from the time she purchased it
until the owners switched. It had to be repainted because Miss
Tilley would cover it in the winter with wool blankets, and
whenever it would get damp, wool fibers would damage the paint. The
only other modification made was that carpet was installed by the
second owners Mr. and Mrs. Charles Yarletts. As for the rest of the
interior, it has never been touched and remains completely
original. This 1949 Ford has an H-6 Cylinder engine, and a 3 Speed
Manual Transmission. It is a Birch Gray with a Gray interior to
accompany it. Since Miss Tilley passed away ONLY 242 miles, have
been put on it making that a total of 13,852 miles on this Ford.
The second owners took great care of this vehicle as did the third
owner when bought in the 90s. You could be the owner of this
pristine 1949 Ford Sedan for only $29,998!
