Vehicle Description
Our Fort Lauderdale Showroom is proud to be showing this stunning
1967 Volkswagen T1 Bus. Let's start with a little history on this
amazing ride. Volkswagen started off with the Type 1 series. We all
know this series as the Bug or Beetle. In 1949 VW developed the
Type 2 series = The Transporter. The 1967 T1 was the last year of
the Split Window Model and the first year of the factory installed
12 Volt electric system making it highly sought after. This
particular Transporter 1 left the factory in Germany in 1967 and
looks absolutely beautiful. We get many cars in on a daily basis,
but the T1 Buses do not roll in often, especially one in this
condition. Such a bus is so popular that many of them are in
private collections and rarely show up for sale. This is your
chance to buy one of the nicest ones around. We are very confident
that you will fall in love with this bus. The Bus has undergone a
complete restoration by Classic Car Coating in Fort Pierce,
Florida. The paint is in excellent condition on a super straight
body. The interior is immaculate and shows beautifully. We could go
on and on about what great shape this bus is, however, there is
really just one word which describes the condition of the whole
bus: FANTASTIC. If you've never believed in love at first sight,
you will after you lay your eyes on this bus. There is no doubt
that this T1 was professionally restored. This VW Bus also runs and
drives how it should. This Bus is not a speed demon by any means,
but the 1600cc engine moves the bus forward and it is a pleasure to
drive it. One of the best features of this Bus is the safari
windows. On hot days, you can open them up and enjoy the fresh
breeze coming in through them. This rare bus is the ultimate head
turner. Be prepared to have many photos taken of you and your
gorgeous machine. With exploding values on the VolkswagenT1 buses,
now is the time to jump on one and this is the bus you want. The 21
and 23 window buses have already surpassed the $100k mark and it is
just a matter of time until all of them go well over 6 digits. This
T1 is a must see and we are very confident that you won't be
disappointed at all.
