Vehicle Description
For sale in our Detroit showroom is a fully restored 1964 Chevrolet
Chevelle Malibu SS convertible. With a drop top, Goldwood Yellow
paint, and a powerful V8 rumbling under the hood, this Chevelle is
everything a muscle car should be and more! There is a lot of
speculation as to what car started the muscle car craze, with the
Ford Mustang, Pontiac GTO, or even the Chevy Chevelle, all being
introduced in 1964. This 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS was produced on
November 18, 1963 in Kansas City Missouri and was treated to a full
frame off restoration being restored as production stock original.
This Chevelle is powered by a date code correct 283 cubic inch V8
which has been fully rebuilt less than 3,000 miles ago and is
backed up by a 4-speed Muncie Synchromesh transmission and a 10
bolt rear axle with 3:08 gear ratio. This 1964 Chevelle SS
Convertible is really set off by the Goldwood Yellow paint which is
a Super Sport only color, the black convertible top, and the
correct Super Sport three spinner type wheel covers wrapped in a
new set of Cooper white wall radial tires. This Chevelle has a
beautiful black vinyl interior with push button AM radio, wooden
steering wheel with tilt column, front seat belts with roller
retractors, padded dash, and full floor console. Other options on
this Chevelle include: power convertible top and power steering
making this Chevelle a breeze to drive especially with the top
down. If you are in the market for a rare, restored classic muscle
car to take home awards then this beauty is definitely the one for
you. For more information on this incredible Chevelle including
