Vehicle Description
For sale in our Dallas showroom is a rare 1949 Ford Anglia. As you
can see this vehicle is far from stock. This car now contains more
than 100 times the horsepower that came with it when it was new.
The 1949 Anglia had a 933 cc 10 horsepower engine. It now has 565
CID V8 with an 8-71 Supercharger with two Predator carburetors. Add
to that the Nitrous oxide kit. These combinations total
approximately 2000 horsepower. The transmission is a manual valve
body TH400. The differential assembly is a Winters quick change
with 3:75 ratio gears. The rear tires are 22" Mickey Thompsons. The
body itself is a rare because it is a mid production body. There
was a changeover of how the body was produced, during this
changeover, 200 cars were produced without the clamshell vents in
front of the doors. On top of this rarity the grill is a 3 bar
grill versus a standard two bar. All of the body has remained
steel, the rear wheel wells were widened to accommodate the monster
rear tires. The stereo is "Vintage Audio" and has auxiliary inputs
for your stored music. This Anglia is 100% road legal and has been
driven on the street for plenty of shows. The features include
Traction Control, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Racing Wheels,
Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. For more HD Photos and video visit
