Vehicle Description
For sale in our Detroit Showroom is this Cool 1952 Chevrolet
two-door Bel Air hardtop. 1952 was the last year for the 5 window
Chevrolet hard top and they continue to become more of a rarity
adding to the model's value. Powered by a re-built 283 cubic inch
V8 small block Chevy which is mated to a rebuilt 350 turbo
transmission and a 10 bolt rear end with a 3.401 gear, this Bel Air
has plenty of power to get up and go and runs as smooth as a new
car. When restored a 4 barrel Carter carburetor was added, a dual
exhaust system with straight side pipes was installed, a modern
alternator and a high flow radiator are other additions giving the
car much added performance and driveability. The exterior of the
car is finished in a coat of flat black primer giving the car a
unique rat-rod look which is perfectly off-set with the new chrome
bumpers, newly re chromed front grill, and chrome accents all
around. This top of the line Bel Air came equipped with fender
skirts, back up lights, turn signals, deep pile carpeting, heat and
defrost, stainless steel rear stone shields, and a clock on the
dash. Inside the original green dash remains and is in great
condition, and the original green cloth interior has been
re-upholstered and maintained like new since completed. Another
nice touch to this rat-rod Chevy is the period correct Oldsmobile
3-spinner full wheel covers with a newer set of 205/70/15 radial
tires for a nice look and improved drive-ability. This restored '52
Chevy is in need of nothing more to be a great cruiser with a
unique style for many years of pure enjoyment. To view this
