Up for sale now in our Houston showroom is this beautiful 1971
Chevrolet Nova SS. Just over 1,000 miles have been put on this show
stopper since the restoration including the addition of a 383 CID
Stroker V8 engine that has been packed with plenty of goodies. Once
a 350 CID 4 bolt main block with added eagle Stroker crankshaft,
eagle piston rods, Keith Black pistons, Brodix heads, Comp Cams,
dual electric fans, polished billet pullies & valve covers, a 750
CFM Holley Carburetor, MSD ignition, Holley fuel pump, RPM airgap
intake, & a 2 " dual exhaust. This V8 is a solid built motor that
begs to be revved through the power band. Paired to this monster V8
is a 700R4 automatic transmission with a 2800 rpm converter stall
that leads into a narrowed Ford 8.8" rear end with a positrac
differential featuring 3:73 gears. The suspension of the car has
been beefed up with additions such as all new bushings, KYB & Koni
struts, sway bars, & a restored sub-frame. Looking into the very
nicely done interior you will find all new vinyl interior seats &
door panels, new auto meter gauges, tilt column steering, an
in-dash tach conversion, electric trunk release, electric door
locks, Billet specialties steering wheel, Vintage air condition
conversion, C6 corvette brake pedal conversion, & also a rocking
vintage stereo with pioneer speakers filling the cab with some
amazing tunes while you are cruising down the road. Connecting all
of this superb craftsmanship to the ground is some American Racing
Torque thrust wheels with 15"x7" in the front & 15"x9" in the rear,
wrapped in BF Goodrich T/A radial tires that are sure to put the
power down from that 383 Stroker! I have saved the best for last
and that is the exterior of this beautiful Nova. The paint on this
car is immaculate with the inside of the engine compartment that
has been smoothed and painted nicely. The HD pictures we have of
the car really do not do the paints' finish justice. It is a PPG
"medium cabernet" color that shines beautifully in the sunshine and
turns heads when she rolls by. Other notable options include:
AM/FM/Cassette, power steering, power brakes, power locks as
mentioned, a new red top Optima battery with Billet battery tray, 4
core radiator conversion, electric auto fading rear view mirror, a
3rd brake light from a 06' GTO, carbon fiber accent pieces, & the
car has a 96' wiring harness from a Z28. This frame off restoration
has been completed the correct way and it shows no expense was
spared during that process. If you are looking for a smooth cruiser
with plenty of power, you've found it. This car is both show and go
and is sure to please. Located in our Houston Showroom, this 1971
Nova SS can be seen in greater detail including HD pictures and
