For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is this solid 1923 Ford
Roadster. The quintessential hot rod, the T-Bucket was the result
of Ford Model T's being hot-rodded beginning in the 50's. Stripping
a vehicle to the bare essentials of what a car still is, these hot
rods will often contain a large V8 engine, a "bucket" style
cockpit, four wheels, and not much else. This particular roadster
has a 350 CID Chevrolet V8 making 400 horsepower, mated to a Turbo
350 3 speed automatic transmission, and running out to a ford rear
end. In an attempt to wrangle in the ridiculous power-to-weight
ratio, this screaming demon is fitted with Mickey Thompson
Sportsman Pro Street 29x18.5x15 tires at the rear, with matching
7.5" wide tires at the front, all mounted to chrome mag wheels. It
is all brought to a halt with disc brakes up front and drum brakes
in the rear. If the thundering side-pipe exhaust doesn't properly
warn people of your approach, then take your pick between the
standard or the classic "ooga" horn to make your presence know.
Moving around the vehicle, you can't help but notice the sunshine
yellow paint. However, take a closer look and you will find that
the entire frame has been powder coated to match the body, and that
many key suspension components as well as most every part on the
engine are finished in high quality chrome. Though the cabin is
rather Spartan, inside you will find high quality leather
upholstery, and a comfortable wood grain wheel. This particular
T-Bucket also comes with a custom hard top if you prefer to ride in
the shade. If driving thrills and attention are what you seek in
your automobile, then look no further. To view this vehicle in
