For sale in our Houston showroom is a head-turning 1964 Ford
Thunderbird that only has 200 miles since rebuild. This car is
finished in White with a black Landau top and black interior with
bucket seats. During the late 1950's and early 1960's the
Thunderbird had a unique styling that was very modern with smooth
long lines and a lower stance than other cars of the time. This was
a personal luxury car and had all of the bells and whistles that
consumers were beginning to get spoiled with. This car features a
recently rebuilt 390 Cubic Inch V8 that was paired with a 3-Speed
automatic transmission that made driving this car a true pleasure.
When it comes to options this cruiser had it all including power
windows, power steering, power brakes, wood accented panels, bucket
seats, swing-away steering column, fender mounted turn signal
indicators, Landau roof, rear center arm rest and hood scoop for
fresh air intake. This car appears to have an original interior
that still shows very well and recently replaced carpet in 2005.
The owner replaced Landau top in 2002 and the radio and speakers
were replaced in 2003. Not only does it drive good but it sounds
good too. This car drives down the road nicely and is ready for the
open road. Be prepared for a lot of attention driving this vintage
'bird. Located in our Houston showroom, this 1964 Ford Thunderbird
