Up for sale in our Louisville Showroom is this absolutely gorgeous
1967 Ford F100 Short Bed pickup truck. Ford produced the fifth
generation F-Series trucks from 1967 to 1972, making this 1967 F100
the 1st year of this body style. The fifth-generation F-series
pick-up was built on the same platform as the 1965 revision of the
fourth-generation. This combination provided a much better ride
quality and also helped to reduce tire wear. This little beauty was
treated to a frame-off restoration approximately 15 years ago. The
exterior of this F100 has been kept simple yet tasteful with solid
red paint on the body. Inside the cab, the interior has been kept
pretty much stock with a bench seat, that has tweed inserts and the
door panels have been done to match. This is where the pretty much
stock look stops! Under the hood is a potent 1985 302 (5.0)
hydraulic roller Ford engine that has been mated to an AOD
automatic. The engine has been dressed up with polished aluminum
finned valve covers to give it a little bling. An Edelbrock four
barrel carburetor has been added with an aluminum intake and a set
of ceramic coated headers for good solid performance. Keeping the
engine cool is a new radiator. Keeping the occupants cool is an AC
system, while you look hot cruising in this cool old truck, you
will be cool as a cucumber. With the acceleration that is provided
by the 302 CID engine, a power brake system with front disc brakes
gets this F100 slowed back down in a hurry! The truck currently
sits on a set of aluminum alloy wheels shod with radial tires.
