automotive design. With most manufacturers looking to increase fuel
economy and passenger room there was a lot to be desired
creatively, with vehicles of this time. In 1997 Chrysler decided to
change that and let their engineers and designers have a field day
from the doldrums of designing vehicles like Stratus, Concorde, and
other less than exhilarating vehicles. The result of this mini
vacation was the Prowler. Designed in the retro hot rod fashion,
this Prowler for sale was unlike anything seen on the road and

V8 of some sort, but with its light weight and almost 50/50 weight

the design in the C5 Corvette which allowed the Prowler to be quite
