Indianapolis Showroom. 1969 brought about all new restyling for
full sized Oldsmobile with more squared off bodylines and
rooflines. Wheelbases were also extended by one inch yet the basic
1965 chassis design and inner-body structure were retained. The
interior also saw a few changes with headrests now standard
equipment and a new instrument panel including square instruments
replacing the round instruments of previous years along with a
push-button operated ashtray and rotary glove compartment knob.
Heater controls were also relocated from the center of the dash to
the left of the steering wheel near the lights and wiper switches.
This 1969 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Convertible for sale is powered by
its 455 CID "Rocket" V8 engine and is backed by a TH400 3-speed
automatic transmission. The transmission was rebuilt last year and
is still under warranty. The rear end and carburetor were recently
rebuilt as well. Other recent work completed on this nice Delta 88
