A true survivor only its third owner, this Continental never has
been on the receiving end of a restoration and with less than
60,000 miles, the top, paint, and chrome are all original to the
vehicle, so while they don't shine as bright as a newer vehicle
would, they have held up incredibly well for their age and it is a
true sight to see. The interior is just as clean as the outside,
with the only non -original interior piece being a new,
factory-spec headliner. The 460 CID V8 engine and C-6 automatic
transmission are also original to the vehicle and have never been
rebuilt, but still fire up at the first turn of the key. This
Continental was able to remain so clean because of its location and
ownership history. The original owner ordered the vehicle to his
desired specifications from the factory and had it delivered to his
home in New Jersey. Before seeing a winter, he brought the vehicle
down to his second home in Port Charlotte, Florida. The vehicle
spent most of its life down South, before being purchased by a
neighbor and brought to Iowa, only being used as a weekend cruiser
during the summer. The second owner passed away several years ago
and the vehicle sat in storage, leading to the low mileage on the
vehicle today. For the last two years, it's called Northern
Illinois home, only taken out when weather permits. Now, Gateway
Classic Cars is lucky enough to feature this 1970 Lincoln
Continental in our Milwaukee Showroom. If you would like to see
more of this survivor, you can find more than 100 HD pictures and
an HD video of the vehicle running and driving at
GatewayClassicCars.com. For more information on this vehicle, or if
