This is a phenomenal 1956 Chevrolet 3100 Series Ton Pickup. This resto-mod is one from the age of Elvis Presley, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and it was on the receiving end of an incredibly high-quality frame-off restoration. The entire body is brand new except for the cab, which was restored, and the wood bed was also completely replaced and updated. The vehicle was painted in its beautiful orange color only a year ago, but looks brand new and the door locks have been shaved, giving the entire vehicle an elegant, streamlined appearance. There was no expense spared on the body work and after taking just one look, it's more than obvious. The 355 CID V8 engine fires up at the first turn of the key and the TH350 automatic transmission shifts through gears with ease, transferring the power from the engine to the new Ford 9" rear end with 3.55 gears. To give the truck a mean stance, the ride height was adjusted with front coilovers. The vehicle was also updated to have power steering, air conditioning that blows ice cold, power locks and windows, keyless entry, and a tilt wheel. Driving this 60 year old truck feels like a breeze and will be perfect for any car show or cruise night. This 1956 Chevrolet 3100 Series Ton Pickup is located in our Milwaukee Showroom.
