With only 3830 miles since the restoration, this absolutely
gorgeous 1967 Chevy II Nova is for sale in our Louisville KY
showroom. In 2011, this Chevy II was found in Brownsburg Indiana
sitting under a car port. The current owner likes to take on
challenges and he saw this as an opportunity. The fun for the
current owner is finding these vehicles of historic significance
and reviving them to better than when they were new. He then found
out the Nova was a 2 owner car and the 2nd owner had owned it since
1978. The engine had just been rebuilt and came with the receipts.
The engine is a 283 V8 bored .030. Originally the engine cam with a
2 barrel carburetor and automatic Powerglide transmission, but this
was all about to change. The engine has been upgraded with a Holley
600 CFM 4 barrel Carburetor, Chevrolet Power Pack heads, Lunati
Voodoo hydraulic cam, and ceramic coated exhaust manifolds. The
engine is now backed by a Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic
transmission with a shift kit installed. After months of
negotiating the Chevy II was purchased in early 2012, and was then
immediately taken the paint and body shop. The trunk pans and floor
pans are still original to this Nova and are in excellent shape.
The front fenders were replaced with new ones, while the rear
quarter panels were restored with steel patch panels. The passenger
door also received a steel patch panel. With the body work
complete, the Chevy II was painted in the originally factory color
Granada Gold. All the weather stripping has been replaced and the
stainless trim was polished before being re-installed. Rounding out
the exterior is a brushed aluminum grille and a set of Wheel
Vintique Comet chrome wheels. After the paint was completed, then
attention was directed to the interior where new door panels, arm
rests, dash pad, headliner, carpet and seat covers were installed.
The interior hardware was replaced and includes; new rearview
mirror, defrost/heater controls, speedometer, Ididit tilt steering
column, tachometer, oil and water temperature gauges. The front end
has also been upgraded with an aftermarket Mustang II style
suspension including tubular a-arms, QA1 shocks, springs, rack &
pinion steering, plus front disc brakes. A full list of upgrades is
available upon request. Options on this 1967 Chevy II Nova include;
AM/FM radio, Vinyl Interior, Front Disc Brakes, Seat Belts, and
Chrome Mag wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. To view over 100 HD
