This beautiful bright yellow Blown 1971 Camaro SS Pro Street is
located in our Louisville KY showroom. This professionally built 71
SS is one heck of a machine. Owned by the same person for over 32
years, it has had a ton of time and money put into it�..boy does it
show? Gone is the original Antique Green body with Blue vinyl top
that was all the rage in 71. With the huge BDS scoop sticking out
of the hood, this beast is sure to capture the attention of every
onlooker. Not just for looks though since lurking inside that scoop
is not one but two 750 Quick Fuel carbs feeding this 496 all the
pump gas it could ever want. You need that much fuel when you have
a 671 blower putting a constant 7 to 8 lbs. of boost giving you all
the power all the time. With a set of MAHL pistons, forged Eagle
rotating assembly, and a set of Pro Comp Aluminum heads this
engine, like the rest of the car, was built right. A Muncie M20 4
speed has been retained with a Center force dual friction clutch
giving it a great mix of drivability and performance. The 12 bolt
rear end has just been rebuilt with a set of 4.88 gears and mounted
on a set of ladder bars shooting out of that red light shouldn�t be
an issue. With a set of 32 x 17.5 x 15 Mickey's mounted on Billet
Specialties Street Lite Double Bead Lock wheels out back and the
matching pair upfront bad has never looked so good. Finished off in
a Yellow that is so bright, they will see you coming, before they
hear you if you want subtle this isn�t the car for you. Open the
door and the first thing you will notice is the 4 point cage,
giving it not only a menacing look, but stiffening the chassis as
well. Of course those harnesses are nice but hopefully will never
have to be tested. The Hurst shifter sitting in the stock console
looks just like it came out of the factory. The dash on the other
hand, is completely custom using all pro comp gauges, including the
tach that has an extra bright shift light. Options on this 1971
