A complete restoration was done on this stunning TR6 where no nut
or bolt was left untouched. Produced from 1968-1976, the TR6 was
the best best-seller of the TR range built by Triumph when
production ended in July 1976. Of the 94,416 TR6s produced over
that span, 86,249 were exported out of the United Kingdom. Most
have since found their final resting places, but one found its way
to Gateway Classic Cars. Just as all TR6s were, this vehicle is
equipped with a 2.5 liter straight-6 engine, producing 125
horsepower, and a 4-speed manual transmission. During the frame-off
restoration, which took over 1,300 hours, the entire engine was
completely rebuilt, the transmission was gone through, and the
entire brake system was replaced to ensure that this is one of the
best TR6s around. The new interior looks just like it did from the
factory and sitting in it makes you feel like you should be
blasting this British roadster down country lanes and over hills,
all while under a canopy of leaves changing from green to brown, as
the crisp autumn air greets you over the windshield; a constant
reminder of how fun this vehicle is to drive. This beautiful 1976
Triumph TR6 is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view the
vehicle in greater detail, including HD pictures and HD video of it
running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are
