Vehicle Description
This custom 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe is for sale in our
Louisville KY showroom. The 30's were a tough time for the auto
industry. The depression was in full swing and companies were
dropping like flies. Chevrolet would weather the storm much better
than most and would hold a steady 40+ percent of the market through
the decade. They would see designs go from boxy squared off people
carriers to beautifully crafted curvy pieces of rolling art. This
is what makes, especially Chevys, great platforms for today's
Streetrod. This Blue one off custom is great example of what a true
Streetrod is all about. Starting and living its life in California
until being purchased and brought to KY in 2006 the coupe was
already in good shape. The new owner had his own vision of what
Streetrod should be which after countless dollars and years of work
his vision would be realized. Completely gutted and taken down to
bare metal the build began. Starting off with new fenders both
front and rear not to mention running boards the body is as
straight as I have seen. Covered with a custom mix PPG blue the car
was beginning to look like his vision. Under the split hood sits a
potent 300 HP 350 that has been dressed with a ton of chrome.
Matched up to an industry leading TCI TH350, transferring power to
the 10 Bolt rear-end is done with ease. The 3.08 gears give you the
chance to cruise down the highway while maintaining a decent rpm.
The flaming river power rack complimented by a mustang II style
front suspension keeps this rod going exactly where you want it to.
The interior would be the last thing to finish. Starting off with a
set of bucket seats out of a 05 GTO the interior was done with
comfort in mind. Wrapped pretty much in complete leather it is sure
to grab everyone's attention. The auto-meter gauges let you monitor
all of the vitals and look great doing it. The custom stereo sounds
great especially with the ability to roll the windows up and turn
the AC down long trips are a dream in this rod. All said and done I
think his vision of a Streetrod is right on the money. Options on
this 1938 Chevrolet Custom Coupe include; AC, AM/FM/CD, Power
Steering, Power Breaks, Power Seats, Tilt, Leather, Seat Belts, and
