Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this excellent
1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza up for sale. In the dawning age of the
high-horsepower muscle car era, the 1966 Chevrolet Corvair stood as
an alternative to import cars like the Volkswagen Beetle with its
rear-engine, rear-drive configuration. In 1966, the Chevrolet
Corvair was offered with numerous body styles, and this particular
Corvair is the four-passenger, two-door Monza Sport Coupe model. It
pairs the 140-horsepower flat-six engine with a two-speed
Powerglide automatic transmission, which uses a dash-mounted gear
selector to open up even more space for the compact car's interior.
According to the trim tag, the 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza you see
here was originally painted Lemonwood Yellow, but it has since been
repainted in the pastel green, which is one of the more popular
colors you'll find this car in. This Corvair was also built with
factory air conditioning (which is currently not hooked up) and the
Convenience Group that includes an inside mirror, remote-control
outside mirror, door edge guards, under hood light, luggage
compartment light and a glove box light. Options on this 1966
Chevrolet Corvair include AM/FM radio, seat belts, vinyl interior
and radial tires. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1966
