Exterior:
I recently had the car buffed and it looks great. The metallic
black paint job looks really nice out in the sun. There are just a
few very minor imperfections but overall the paint job is really
nice.
The windshield is new and does not have any cracks, chips,
scratches, etc. There are nice small lexan wind deflectors that
really help with knocking the wind buffeting down.
The chrome side pipes are in good shape and shine nicely and fit
the nostalgic Cobra look.
It has 15" American Racing "Shelby" series wheels with really nice
GoodYear Eagle "Sport Car Special" tires in a 26.5"x8" up front and
a 26.5"x10" out back.
The bumpers, gas filler neck and roll bar are all in really good
shape and shine nice as well.
Interior:
The interior is all very nice in the car.
The seat covers are in great shape and don't have any tears,
etc.
The door panels are new and in great shape.
The carpet is new and in great shape as well.
There is a full compliment of Auto Meter Pro Comp Ultra Lite silver
face gauges in the dash and center console.
Drivetrain:
The engine is an all aluminum 5.7 liter Ls1 from a '98 Camaro Z28
that runs great, has great power and great oil pressure. It has an
aluminum radiator to keep the engine cool. There is also a nice
aluminum fuel tank under the rear of the car.
The transmission is a smooth shifting T56 6 speed manual. The
hydraulic clutch feels good, doesn't slip and engages easily.
The rear end is an 8.8" Ford with disc brakes.
Suspension:
It has a very nicely built rectangular tubing chassis underneath
with Mustang II style front suspension. It has tubular a-arms and
coil overs up front with Wilwood 4 piston disc brakes.
The rear suspension is a triangulated 4 link like what came from
the factory under Fox body Mustangs. It has tubular upper control
arms and Maximum Motorsports weight jacker rear lower control arms
that you can adjust the ride height of the car by raising or
lowering the pad that the coil springs ride on.
The manual rack and pinion steering feels smooth and tight.
