Beautiful condition classic Corvette soft top convertible restored a few years ago. Low production, 1 of 708 original Tuxedo Black cars, even rarer as L-79 convertible.
Gel coat is excellent condition, high gloss, very few imperfections, painted period correct 1968 Safari Yellow shows well even when dirty. Chrome front/rear bumper and luggage rack are all in excellent condition, no pitting, dings or chips. The body is straight with very few minor imperfections. The hood and convertible top hatch fit and function perfectly. Paint and body rated 9.5/10.
The suspension is all new, the front end was professionally rebuilt, all parts cleaned and properly painted. All rubber and bushings are in excellent shape. The underside of this car looks like brand new, no rust, dirt, grime, or dents. The front disc brakes are brand new and are very effective for stopping the car.
The numbers matching Muncie 4 speed transmission is in excellent shape with perfect shifts. The clutch feels and works perfectly.
The numbers matching L79 327ci Turbo-Fire was rebuilt approximately 4,500miles ago. The upgrades push this engine from the original 350hp to an estimated 400hp.

The black soft top is in good condition. The mechanics and latches all function properly, seals are in great shape.
This car does not have a/c, power steering or power brakes. This car is a BLAST to drive! It's like a Harley with 4 wheels.
