1973 Custom VW Dune Buggy - Super beetle platform. Motor (long block assembly) Transmission and clutch where updated in 2007. The body of this Buggy is very unique its not a common kit that is available. Current owner has performed extensive custom work on the exterior of the car's body by incorporating custom checker plate metal paneling along the sides along with a very extensive powder coat finishing along the exposed engine area, front bumper area and even the complete interior. The solid form fitting removable hard top with canvas sides shows well and compliments the rich exterior paint and body assembly. All chrome trim such as "VW" metal pieces are a custom installed feature. The interior has been transformed in a very tidy rugged material. Gauge clusters on the dash are a one of kind custom presentation. Suspension throughout the car's body has been upgraded and customized for a cleaner look but very functional. New custom rims and tires, all new electrical wiring and charging system is new including the fuel and braking systems.
