For Sale: 1967 Triumph T120 TT in Scotts Valley, California
The TT was a tremendous race-spec bike that was only offered in the
United States. They were produced by Triumph from 1963 through
1967. At the end of the 1967 model year Johnson Motors, one of the
largest importers of Triumphs in US at the time, ordered 200
specially made TT for 1968. They were to have a few modifications
from stock, most importantly was the specification of the headstock
having the steeper 65-degree rake angle from the 1965 model. Of
course the 1968 model year never happened, and these 200 special
bikes represent the last of the T120 TTs. These very rare bikes are
documented in the book "Triumph Motorcycles in America" by Lindsay
Brooke.
This example was always a race bike, and was never road registered.
It was original and complete, making it an excellent candidate for
restoration. The result of over a year of work, this TT is 100%
correct down to its 1-year only bolt stampings, and unobtanium,
original NOS tires.
