When Dodge decided to install Cummins turbo diesel engines in their
light duty truck line, the industry was changed forever. GM and
Ford had their own diesel applications, however, the Cummins turbo
diesel is virtually the same diesel engine that power 18 wheel OTR
tractor trailer rigs all over the country. The six cylinder design
was much simpler and less costly to service, better yet, the
smaller Cummins turbo diesel produced significantly more torque
than its competing V8's--400 lb ft. vs. GM's 246 and Ford's 345.
The Cummins turbo diesel did everything better: More towing
capacity, more hauling capacity, and the turbo diesel performed
well at all altitudes making with its competitors loosing as much
as 3 percent per 1000 feet gained in altitude. The Cummins name
became synonymous with Dodge Ram truck line and set the stage for
years to come in light duty diesel technology.

owner, 1993 Dodge W250 Cummins Turbo Diesel 4X4 pick up. This truck
was sold new by Beyer Motor Company Inc. of Gridley, KS on February
9, 1993 and came fully optioned including: Cummins Turbo Diesel
engine, automatic transmission with overdrive, 4 Wheel Drive with
locking from hubs, manual floor shift 205 transfer case, limited
slip differential, 4500 front axle, Spicer 70 rear axle, 3.5 axle
ratio, power steering, power heavy duty brakes, power windows,
power mirrors, cargo light, bench seat, air conditioning, Chrysler
premium sound, etc. Other highlights include a 2 � inch suspension
lift, Bilstein front and rear shocks, Bilstein steering stabilizer
system, near new Nitto Dura Grappler Highway Terrain LT 285/75/16
tires, color keyed rhino liner bed, protective bed mat, and back up
camera. The truck remained in the hands of the original owner until
March of 2016, where it was garage kept in a climate controlled
environment, consistently detailed, maintained, never an accident
or incident, and to date, driven just 63677 miles. As a result,
this truck remains completely original and is nothing short of
outstanding in all areas. The factory 2-tone, Light Champagne /
Dark Copper Pearl paint is excellent in all areas and with the
exception of a few minor stone pecks, still shows new. The Beige
cloth interior remains extremely clean only showing very minor wear
on the driver side of the bench seat, the engine bay and underside
remain excellent. Mechanically, the entire truck is spot on,
everything works and ready for immediate use.
Vintage trucks are becoming a hot item in todays vehicle and
special interest vehicle market. The quality of this Dodge W250 is
absolutely amazing and one would be hard pressed to find another
original, well cared for example like it. At 24 years young, this
1993 Dodge Ram W250 4X4 Cummins Turbo Diesel is significant and
collectible. The truck presents itself in near new condition and
one can make a big entrance in the classic truck market. The car
