El Caminos are getting harder and harder to find in good shape, this one is in very good shape. People most often used these as sport trucks back in the day. El Caminos would get driven everywhere including the snow and they would tend to rust in all the usual spots. As you will see in the pics of this one, the body is as straight as an arrow. This is a very solid car, and the fit and finish are in great shape as well. This car was redone few years ago, and the paint still presents itself extremely well. You are not going to see any rips or tears. There were not a lot of frills on the interiors of these cars, but you have everything that you need to see what is going on with your ride. There is also the addition of the tachometer mounted on the steering column and 3 additional gauges mounted below the dash for water, oil, and temp. You also have the luxury of the Vintage AM/FM stereo radio.
Next, under the hood is where all the business is on this cool car. It has a 350ci V8 with the chrome Edelbrock breather sitting on top of the Holley carburetor. As you can see in the pictures, you are looking at a very clean and painted engine compartment, with just the right amount of chrome to bring out the shine. All this fun power is mated to a 4-speed Muncie manual transmission, and it all goes out to a 10-bolt rear end. You could drive this car anywhere.
