Founded in 1909 and getting its name from the owner of a Detroit apartment store, Hudson did everything they could to ensure the class and quality of their automobiles throughout the 1930s. A fantastic example of the class and quality would be this 1934 Hudson Terraplane. At the time this car was very fast, reaching a 0-60 speed in 15 seconds. In high gear, 0-30mph would be 18seconds, with a top speed of 80mph. That was all thanks to the V8 engine installed and the Manual Transmission. This vehicle was very economical getting 25 mpg and very lightweight as well weighing 2800lb, which compared to other cars of that period, the Terraplane was like a feather. Due to the ratio of speed, weight, and gas, it accounted for a rough 75% of Hudsons sales from 1934-36. This particular Terraplane is a relic of the past being 83 years old and 100% original!! It has museum quality, and there are not very many cars you come by that are that old, and have never been touched. The exterior is all Black with a Tan fabric interior. The best part is that it still runs very well, and over the course of 83 years, only 36,121 miles have been placed on it. Incredible!
