1985 Monte Carlo SS CONTRACT FOR SALE YOU AGREE TO BUY "AS IS" 100,000+ miles the Odometer was broke when I purchased, I had it repaired.
This is a great car the original Monte Carlo SS with the 305 rebuilt four barrel great gas mileage. I was driving it some to car shows once a year. Garaged 10 years otherwise. Has some rust out at bottom of doors on bottom and as pictured above rear tire and a makeshift paint job but it is clean and runs drivable. Recent brake job and new sport lines. Tires are good shape new 60s on back.
Please only serious inquiries with cash in hand or liquefiable check payable at the currency exchange teller window, and MUST do Title transfer, there is a currency exchange up the street and tax and license and plates runs you about $160 and $35.00 transfer fee to get plates Etc. Qualifies for antique plate’s cheaper and or expanded antique plate you drive from April to Oct. Unless Out of state buyers must sign this sales as contract bought and sold to buyer as is; no other warranties expressed or implied, arrangements are made with the owner first in writing. Must be a legal transfer of Title. It has clear Title and Licenses are good registered with the State of Illinois a number of years.
For sale is a 1985 Monte Carlo SS. This engine runs good. It has a 305 Four Barrel, Carburetor, Duel Exhaust and STOCK positive traction Rear End. It has an automatic transmission. It is black with Maroon interior. It has a maroon interior and trunk lid on it. Rear quarter’s minor rust on rear edges of wheel wells and on the bottom of the doors typical of this type of car, apparently some light bondo there so it is not getting worse, floors; frame, nose and trunk appear solid. Trunk lid opens with button up front.
It is a running car part(s) at local Chevy Dealers, available on various JC Whitney or Monte Carlo Websites. It has a clear Illinois title. Both doors are working. It has power windows (right side does not work seems like the connectors fuse or some minor electrical as the motor appears to be new in the window [I Don't know]), bench seats and column shift.
It has the factory steel wheels on it I think... Has original SS Horn cover and horn is wired to a dash button and works fine.
[The horn is a button on the dash.] Heater works great. The Air Conditioner on this car does not work needs upgrade to new Freon another easy fix kit or rebuild would be the next thing I do but the price will go up. So get it now. Any and all interior and exterior trim and chrome pieces can now be purchased at Dixie Monte Carlo or others.
This is a wonderful car and I hope the new owner has as much fun as I have had owning and driving it to the Shriners car show. Balance must be paid in full. If by check the check will have to clear before the car go's anywhere. Vehicle must be picked up upon purchase and only then will the Title be handed over or sent. Buyer can transfer of Title by at local Currency Exchange they charge fees we are not responsible for any taxes or fees buyer pays those. Payment must be recieved first before the vehicle is transfered and theTitle will be sent to the new owner. 1985 Monte Carlo SS and it says SS on teh sterring wheel SS means Super Sport; this is the classic front end and great hot rod motor carb and transmission dual exhuast.
Personally I used the car to go to work, I represent the vehicle as running and drivable nothing implied herein it is being sold strickly as is. Road ready pay and transfer title into your name. Local currency exchange or downtown. Drive it away.

Miliage is unknown, Odometer works after I bought it I fixed it, but car has over 100,000+ unknown mileage.
